Kim Clijsters has joined forces with coach Carl Maes again. The Belgian announced on her web site that Maes, who coached her in between 1995 and 2002, will work with her current coach, Wim Fissette, who was once her hitting partner.
Maes also had stints as Belgium’s Fed Cup captain, the head of women’s tennis in the UK and as the private coach for Clijsters' close friend. Kirsten Flipkins. "From the experience and expertise that Maes has built up, he probably can teach me things that can make a difference," Clijsters said.
