Roger Federer is back in training following arthroscopic surgery on his knee.

The world No. 3 underwent the procedure three weeks ago to repair a torn meniscus. It does not usually require a long layoff, but it was still an unusual occurrence for the rarely-injured Federer.

The 17-time Grand Slam champion appears to have improved by leaps and bounds—quite literally, as he tweeted a picture of himself jumping with no visible bandage on his left knee.

In addition to his physical training, Federer is also back on court. He tweeted a photo of himself hitting a one-hander indoors.

He has not said what caused the injury, saying only that it happened the day following his semifinal against Novak Djokovic at the Australian Open.

Federer withdrew from scheduled tournaments in Rotterdam and Dubai because of the injury.
