Milos Raonic has withdrawn from Canada's Davis Cup tie against France in Guadeloupe, joining Daniel Nestor.

Raonic has not played a competitive match since injuring his adductor at the Australian Open.

"Davis Cup has always been, and will continue to be, a priority in my schedule,” he said in a statement released by Tennis Canada. “My body at this moment does not allow me to compete, as the muscular tear I sustained in Australia has not completely healed.”

Nestor, who Tennis Canada notes has not played Davis Cup just once in 15 years, will not be playing for personal reasons.

Vasek Pospisil will be the top player against a French team that includes Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Richard Gasquet and Gael Monfils.
