Karolina Pliskova has a received a four-figure fine for smashing the umpire's chair following her second-round defeat to Maria Sakkari at Rome.
The fine was not published by the WTA, but Pliskova's spokesperson, Michal Hrdlicka of the Czech tennis federation, said the amount was in the four figures, and that Pliskova would also donate the same amount to a charitable effort.
Video of Pliskova's angry on-court reaction grabbed attention, as did the original line call behind it.
