The men's singles semifinals delivered some memorable moments. Grigor Dimitrov, removed from the pains of his love-worn heart, fashioned a backward overhead against Rafa that no one saw coming.

Separately, Stan Wawrinka all but folded up his racquet at one point against Federer. (Hey, Yonex, what kind of money does one have to pony up for such highly visible breakage?)

Whether he was 1) still miffed that someone took him for Roger Federer a round earlier, 2) still smarting from that later-underplayed argument with Jo-Wilfried Tsonga or 3) neither, we'll never know.
