Here's hoping Bethanie Mattek-Sands' success in the Olympics (mixed doubles gold) and US Open (doubles crown) this year—as well as her near-seizure of the No. 1 doubles ranking at the WTA Finals—leads her into the arms of a top brand's design team.
She deserves it for all her successes, and so does Wimbledon. For now, she's on the fringe, just as she was in fringe this summer on those stately grass courts.
