It was a memorable weekend for Agnieszka Radwanska, even though she did not compete for a championship trophy. Instead, the 28-year-old Polish superstar married longtime boyfriend and hitting partner Dawid Celt on Saturday.

The ceremony was attended by fellow WTA tour stars and friends who wished her well.

Wozniackitalked about on their friendship:

“Aga is getting married, so then all of a sudden we’re like, we just want a girls trip, but it’s tough when everyone has their own thing," she said. "It’s not like we are separated, but it’s like sometimes like we have different priorities or there is just a little bit more busy now. But, yeah, I think still we hang out and we have coffees and sit and talk and have a good time.”

Many stars on the women’s tour are balancing tennis with marriage and parenting. New Hall-of-Fame inductee Kim Clijsters got married to Brian Lynch in 2007 and retired for two years in 2007 for the birth of her daughter Jada. She returned to the tour to win three of her four career majors.

New mother Victoria Azarenka will try to replicate the feat, and Serena Williams may join her if she returns next year.

Tennis weddings have been popular this summer as Yanina Wickmayer wed on July 15. Andrea Hlavackova got married on the same weekend as Radwanska, as did Julien Benneteau.

Radwanska is holding onto the No. 10 ranking as she continues hunting that elusive major title. For now, her fans can take a break, celebrate her life milestone and appreciate the fine details to her dress.
