Anderson's wife feels the nerves in Estoril

It's not easy being a spectator, especially if you're watching a loved one compete. Sometimes the players themselves admit it's easier to play than to watch.

In Estoril, Kevin Anderson has put his wife, Kelsey through the wringer, battling back from a set down to win his second-round match over wildcard Joao Domingues, 3-6, 6-4, 7-5.

Anderson is trying to bring his ranking back up to his former Top 10 days from its current position at No. 66.

And his wife is just trying to survive the ride.

On Friday, Kevin Anderson did it again, taking out Richard Gasquet, 6-2, 3-6, 7-6 (4), to reach the semifinals.

And once again, his wife felt the struggle.

The 30-year-old Anderson is into his first ATP semifinal since winning Winston-Salem for his third career title back in 2015.
