Andy Murray not as amused by his mom as fans are

Admit it: You, too, would watch a reality TV show featuring Judy, Jamie and Andy Murray and fam. Perhaps it could be called Thoroughly Modern Murrays. Heaven knows it could top those Kartrashian kerfuffles.

Catalyzing a Twitter Moment recently, Andy Murray staged a Q&A on the social media platform, and the conversation quickly turned to his mother. You might think that, when strangers pry pertaining to Judy, it might be that mum's the word. But no. This is Andy after all. He fielded the questions head-on and, like the one who brought him into this world, shot from the hip.

Describing, no doubt with a wink in his eye, to fans and other onlookers that his mother is no relentless delight, Murray knew full well that Judy would opine in due time. She happily complied:

And Andy wasn't done. He doubled down on the dry-humored sentiment. If a certain segment of sarcasm is truth, you'll never know what Andy's precise percentages are, but he was game to give the people what they wanted on this day.

Idle hands, perhaps. The tennis world would will Andy back into action if possible, but the world can wait.
