'Can’t wait to marry you': Casper Ruud announces engagement to Maria Galligani

She said yes!

Casper Ruud’s off-season is barely underway, but it’s already one that will stick with the Norwegian.

On Tuesday, Ruud revealed he and long-time girlfriend Maria Galligani are engaged.

“Can’t wait to marry you,” captioned the 25-year-old.

The happy couple first got together well before Ruud’s emergence as one of the premier players on the ATP Tour, going public back in 2018. Galligani has been a significant presence within the Ruud camp, watching her beau reach three Grand Slam finals alongside his closest family members that include dad Christian (also his coach) and mom Lele.

But the happiest of all about the announcement just may be Don Bajas, their beloved dog. When Ruud’s schedule has permitted, the two have taken their adorable Maltese-Shih Tzu mix pup on the road and documented the adventures for fans to follow.

Ruud is coming off a 2024 that saw him win more than 50 matches, lift his biggest trophy to date in Barcelona and reach the semifinals of the Nitto ATP Finals for the third time in four years.

With love clearly on his side, is it now Ruud's turn to become the next king of Roland Garros?
