CINCINNATI, Ohio—The grass court season continues for Carlos Alcaraz and Casper Ruud, at least on the golf course.

Alcaraz and Ruud shared a picture of a reunion on the greens ahead of the Cincinnati Open on Instagram, Ruud suggesting the pair had become a dynamic duo.

“Who should we challenge to a match??⛳️🤔” captioned Ruud, a former world No. 2.

Ruud may trail Alcaraz 1-4 in their tennis head-to-head, but Alcaraz revealed Ruud had gotten the better of him the last time they faced off in golf.

“The next time I play him, I’ll remember he beat me at golf—and I’ll hit the ball even harder,” Alcaraz joked in an interview with the *Financial Times*.

It looks like this outing ended up a friendly one between the rivals, who ended up in opposite sides of the Cincinnati Open men’s draw.

Seeded second in Queen City, Alcaraz will play his first match against either Mattia Bellucci or Damir Dzumhur, while the 11th-seeded Ruud will take on Arthur Rinderknech in his opening round.
