Alcaraz laughs off miss in Charlotte.

The holiday season is here. And with that in mind, Carlos Alcaraz—through a little encouragement from Tennis Channel’s social media team—tapped into the warm spirit this time of year brings.

While in New York for the Garden Cup, the world No. 3 put on his proverbial Santa hat. The task: come up with gift ideas for Jannik Sinner, Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal.

For Sinner, Alcaraz decided, “I could give him new boots for skiing or new things that’s for skin.”

The Italian’s upbringing on the slopes is long-documented, so no surprise that’s where his rival’s head went.

Djokovic, however, could be surprised with his present. Let's remember, it’s the thought that counts!

“That’s difficult. I’m thinking about a really good Spanish ham, let’s say,” determined Alcaraz in what he’d send the 24-time major winner’s way.

The challenge here? Djokovic has long observed a plant-based lifestyle, occasionally eating fish while avoiding red meat.

As for his Paris Olympics doubles partner, who recently hung up his racquet, the 21-year-old had two ideas for Nadal.

“I would give him really good wine bottles or a new set of golf clubs. Between one of those.”

Perhaps one day we’ll see Carlitos and Rafa enjoy another outing together, on the links given Alcaraz’s growing passion for golf.

The holder of two majors in 2024, Alcaraz is expected to open his 2025 season at the Australian Open. If he triumphs at Melbourne Park, the Murcia native would replace Nadal as the youngest man in history to complete a Career Grand Slam.
