If style were an Olympic sport, who could compete with Casper Ruud? 🥇

The former world No. 2 was named as a Dior Ambassador just in time for the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris, joining a cadre of French and international athletes for a star-studded campaign.

Paris Match reported that Ruud was styled by Kim Jones (creative director for Dior and Fendi) alongside French hurdler Sasha Zhoya, Hong Kong fencer Cheung Ka Long, Paralympic swimmer Alex Portal, and rower Matteo Sartori.

“So many unique alliances showcasing, more than ever, excellence, passion, the values of resilience, discipline, respect and creativity dear to Dior,” reads a line from the press release, translated from French.

Ruud is coming off a third consecutive semifinal finish at Roland Garros, having twice reached the final, and will rank among the likely medal contenders in men’s singles.

The Norwegian has also steadily built an impressive fashion portfolio, posing for a Vogue Scandinavia and GQ spread last year.

Ruud has even caught the eye of *Vogue*’s own Anna Wintour, leading many (it’s me, I am many) to wonder if the editor-in-chief sees Ruud as a potential style successor to Roger Federer.

Can Casper slide onto the Olympic podium this summer? So long as he doesn’t get any terre battue on his new suit!
