I hit a serve that struck the net tape, went over the net and struck the receiver's partner before touching the ground. Is this a fault or a point? Taking it a step further, what if it struck the net player and dropped in the correct service box.

It's neither a fault nor loss of point. It's simply a service let under Rule 22.a., if the ball, after touching the net, “touches the receiver or the receiver's partner . . . before hitting the ground.” And where the ball subsequently lands is irrelevant.
