Daniil Medvedev has finished the year inside the Top 100, at exactly No. 100, for the first time in his young career. He took time to reflect on his rise while quite literally rising up the O2 Arena in London.

"If somebody told me at the beginning of the year that by end of the year I would be in the Top 100 I would ask where do I sign for it," the Russian said.

Medvedev finished 2015 at No. 331. This year, he won a title on the ITF Pro Circuit tour and on the ATP Challenger circuit, as well as reached his first ATP quarterfinal at his home event in Moscow.

He was also in town to be awarded $50, 000 for the Tecnifibre Young Gun on the Road in 2016.
