Dating or Not Dating? Venus Williams clears up Reilly Opelka rumors 

Reilly Opelka and Venus Williams are frequently spotted together and because of that many fans suspected the two players might be dating. The rumors continued to grow throughout 2021, but this week Venus put that to an abrupt end on her Instagram story. Always looking to engage with fans, she added a "Questions" sticker onto her latest story and answered away.

Of course her followers didn't hesitate in asking if Opelka and Williams are a packaged deal.

“Are you and Reilly dating?,” the follower asked.

"No @ReillyOpelka shot me down," she responded.

The hilarious and straightforward answer pretty much clears it all up for now. But, the two players do enjoy spending time with each other and just last week they attended Art Basel in Miami. Opelka posted a photo of them together alongside popular music artist Kygo at the event and most recently put up a very artistic picture of himself inside the gallery. Williams took to his comment section to leave more adorable banter.

“Borrowing shirt. Wearing as dress," the seven-time major champion commented.

The ATP No. 26 also made it out for the King Richard movie premiere in Los Angeles, where he walked the red carpet and spent time with the seven-time Grand Slam singles winner. Although the two might not be dating, their friendship continues to grow and the fans love to see it.

Williams didn't have a stellar 2021 season, but she sure did shine bright both on and off the court. Her last tournament of the year was back in August at Chicago's WTA 250—she fell to Hsieh Su-wei in the first round.
