Up a break in the first set of his second-round Indian Wells match, Juan Martin del Potro pulled out the big guns. Facing Federico Delbonis, the former world No. 4 hit a stunning tweener lob winner for an early contender for shot of the tournament.

Del Potro would seal the win, 7-6 (5), 6-3. The reward for his flashy and hard work is a third-round clash with Novak Djokovic.

Their last two meetings have been dramatic, with Del Potro stunning Djokovic in the first round of Rio on his way to a silver medal. Just a few short weeks ago in Acapulco, Djokovic got revenge with a three-set win in the round of 16.

Their blockbuster third round is just one of many potential match-ups in the famed "group of death" quarter that also includes Alexander Zverev vs. Nick Kyrgios, Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer.
