Juan Martin del Potro is having a stellar season. Most recently, the 30-year-old Argentinian reached the US Open final, his first major final since winning the US Open in 2009.

Despite losing to Novak Djokovic, Del Potro regrouped in time for Beijing, where he has qualified for the ATP Finals.

"I'm happy to get in London after five years. Will be amazing moments for me," Del Potro said in Beijing. "I will love to be part of that eight players, to make that event. Of course, it's a very special tournament for us. It will be exciting to do well in London."

Del Potro hasn't qualified for the year-end tournament since 2013, but secured his spot by defeating Karen Khachanov, 6-4, 7-6 (4), in the second round of the China Open.

While in Beijing, Del Potro has been having fun, spending time with both locals and a new version of himself.
