The offseason is different for every player. Some lay on the beach for a month while others don't stop working out on the court and in the weight room. Juan Martin Del Potro is straddling the middle ground, both working hard and hardly working.

The Argentinian has been photographed taking a dip in the pool, signing autographs for children, and hitting the gym to stay on track for his 2019 season. Del Potro's final match of 2018 was against Borna Coric in Shanghai, retiring in the second set with a fractured kneecap.

Despite the abrupt ending to his year, Del Potro had his best season since 2013, winning Acapulco and Indian Wells (which was his first ATP Masters title) as well as rising to a career-high ranking of No. 3.
