A hair-raising story might be developing after Taylor Fritz's appearance at DJ Kygo's sold-out show at the famed Hollywood Bowl on Thursday.

Looking cool and casual as he was brought to the stage for a deut with Kygo and Corey Gamble, the longtime beau of socialite Kris Jenner, for the song "Stargazing," eagle-eyed fans were quick to notice that the US Open finalist's dark tresses were nowhere to be found beneath his backwards hat.

"IS TAYLOR FRITZ BLONDE????" crooned one fan in the comments of a video of Fritz's appearance posted by Tennis Channel's Steve Weissman on X, formerly Twitter, and others quickly followed.

Even the team behind the Served with Andy Roddick podcast chimed in, writing: "Steve, what a gift you have given us."

Should it turn out that Fritz hit the peroxide sometime between losing to Novak Djokovic for the 10th time in 10 career meetings last week in the quarterfinals of the Rolex Shanghai Masters and Thursday's night on the town, he'd join a slew of current and former Top 10 stars including Fabio Fognini, Casper Ruud and Dominic Thiem to try out the platinum look in recent years.

But any possible new locks aside, it was much less of a surprise to see the rop-ranked American man at the show.

He is a noted fan of the Norwegian DJ and record producer, whose legal name is Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll. Back in 2017, the pair were photographed together on the court, and two years later, Fritz even starred in the campaign that launched artist's headphones in the U.S.

And Thursday wasn't just notable, as far as Fritz was concerned, for the soft-launch of a possible new 'do. It was also announced that the world No. 6 will join Coco Gauff, the now-not-yet-retiring Danielle Collins, Desirae Krawczyk, Denis Kudla and Robert Galloway in making up the U.S. team for the 2025 United Cup, which will take place at the start of next season in Australia from Dec. 27 to Jan. 5.
