Dimitrov struggles to take sweatpants off before match

All of Grigor Dimitrov's troubles in his second-round bout against Andrej Martin came early on, and we're talking very early, before the warm up early. The Roland Garros No. 18 seed struggled to take his purple Andre Agassi-inspired Challenge Court Nike sweatpants off before beginning the warm up. The chair umpire who was waiting alongside Martin at he net to kick things off, told Dimitrov he had just 15  seconds remaining.

"Can you give me an extra 10?" Dimitrov asked.

The world No. 20's pants were stuck around his shoe. He was still wrestling to get the pants off on the bench as he proceeded to stand up and walk over to the net.

"No, just take it off," the chair umpire said.

Dimitrov would insist it was fine and would go back to work on the tight sweats as he stood by the net as the umpire shared the rules before the coin toss. Finally, after many long moments, the struggle was over as Dimitrov whipped the Nike sweats off from around his shoe.

Although the 29-year-old severely struggled, he's honored to be wearing his coach Agassi's Nike collection in Paris.

"I think I'm the only one that is playing with the colors that I'm playing in right now," Dimitrov said. "It's very special to me. I'm very humbled and honored to absolutely wear that outfit."

That was the only hiccup he encountered during his second-round match against Martin. Dimitrov's game is shaping up quite nicely in France, as he defeated the world No. 102, 6-4, 7-6 (5), 6-1, to advance to the third round.

Dimitrov, who has reached the semifinal round at all other majors besides in Paris, is looking to do better this time around.

"For me personally I would love to get further in this tournament," he said. "I felt like I have been, quite a few times I have been a little short out here with good and tough matches. But every year I come back with a positive mindset."

The Bulgarian will next face Roberto Carballes Baena, who upset Denis Shapovalov in five grueling sets.
