Djokovic, Chris Evert comment on Kyrgios' behavior

Chris Evert's reaction to Nick Krygios' bizarre performance in Shanghai is all of us.

Kyrgios was fined a total of $16,500 after seemingly tanking during his 6-3, 6-1 second-round loss to No. 110-ranked Mischa Zverev on Thursday. The world No. 14 bunted serves in, didn't attempt to make returns and got into arguments with both the umpire and fans.

He was fined $10,000 for a lack of best efforts, $5,000 for verbal abuse of a spectator and $1,500 for unsportsmanlike conduct.

Novak Djokovic, the top seed in Shanghai, had some positive thoughts to share on the matter:

Meanwhile, Zverev, who had to battle through qualifying, has reached his first-ever Masters 1000 quarterfinal with a 6-7 (4), 6-4, 6-1 over Marcel Granollers. The 29-year-old takes on Djokovic next.
