On Wednesday, Novak Djokovic hosted a charity event at the Margaret Court Arena in Melbourne as he continues preparing for the first Grand Slam of the 2017 season.

Special guests included Roy Emerson, Alexander Zverev, wheelchair champion Dylan Alcott, Australia cricketers Aaron Finch, Shane Warne and Meg Lanning, Australian rules football pro Max Gawn and former netball player Sharelle mcMahon.

The night began with a Fast4 style match against Zverev (which went in the young German's favor).

He also tried netball:

The 12-time Grand Slam champion even got into a wheelchair for some rallies with Alcott.

Djokovic cheated a little bit (for a good cause):

The event was a major success with lots of support and donations for the foundation, which provides quality preschool education for children who need it most.

The defending champion begins his run for a 13th major against Fernando Verdasco. Whatever happens next week, Djokovic is already leaving Australia with some positive results.
