Dynamic Duo: Lacoste makes Roland Garros kits for its two signature stars

There’s the trademark red clay, the bruising, seesaw matches, the savory smell of Nutella crepes, and, of course, the crocodile. Whether it’s on tournament personnel, fans or signage around the grounds, the famed apparel label—celebrating its 90th anniversary—is a tournament fixture.

While numerous players will be dressed in Lacoste, it will be two favorites for the men’s title, Novak Djokovic and Daniil Medvedev, who will push the brand front and center. Here’s what both will be wearing next month in Paris.

The polo is made of recycled polyester in a stitchless design to prevent skin abrasion and lighter weight. The stretchy, ultra-dry, knit fabric is designed for maximum breathability and comfort. A bicolor collar rib and ventilated mesh sleeves highlight this polo. The yellow contrasts on the arms, inspired by fashion shows, adds to the look. The ultra-dry pique material helps wick sweat, as the laser holes on the sides and back enhance breathability. The mesh shorts have a colorful jacquard elasticated waistband for a comfortable fit. An integrated tight offers added support while transferring perspiration away from the body. Contrasted slits on the side bring fine detailing unrestricted movement.

Medvedev will trust his slides around the clay courts to these high-performance shoes. Top-notch stability comes via the combination of a woven mesh upper with integrated cage system, stretch-fit sock construction, heel stabilizer and midfoot chassis.
