Edmund gets given interesting advice in Atlanta

Now that's quite a list of tennis tips. Playing in Atlanta, Great Britain's Kyle Edmund was handed a sheet of advice, and found it so compelling he shared it with his followers.

The list begins with the fundamental concepts of tennis such as, "Never hit to your opponent—make them run." The overall message is a simple one, "Get to the net."

But most players these days are baseliners, like Edmund, as Colin Fleming pointed out:

It seems the tips sheet was making the rounds at the ATP 250 event:

Edmund was most intrigued by Rule 10, which states the "sooper looper," a very high, deep topspin to the backhand will win you the point 70 percent of the time. The mystery writer goes on to claim that if you hit it every third point, "statistically you are the #1 player in the word."
