From one breakthrough major-winner to another: Emma Raducanu was on the golf course over the weekend at the the LPGA's Amundi Evian Championship, where she presented the winner's trophy to Céline Boutier at the conclusion of Sunday's final round.

With a final score of 14-under par, Boutier put her name in the record books by winning her first major title, like Raducanu did when she stormed to the 2021 US Open title as a qualifier. The 29-year-old became the first French golfer to win the championship in its three-decade history, and just the third to ever win a major in women's golf.

Two sports, two major champions.

The tie-in for Raducanu's appearance came from the event's title sponsor. After winning in New York two years ago, Raducanu was named a global brand ambassador for Evian, which has been attached to the event since it began on the Ladies' European Tour as the Evian Masters in 1994; in 2000, it became a co-hosted LPGA event, and was elevated to the women's golf tour's fifth major in 2013.

Raducanu chronicled her quick trip to Évian-les-Bains, France on her Instagram account, where she posted behind-the-scenes snaps, the town's scenery, and the course at the Evian Resort Golf Club.

But vacation isn't all that Raducanu's been posting about. Sidelined since the spring as a result of surgeries on both wrists and an ankle, the 20-year-old shared just last week that she's returned to physical activity.

"First few steps, but nice to be introduced," she wrote 10 days ago, accompanying a video of her working out in the gym.

Raducanu was forced to miss both Roland Garros and Wimbledon as a result of her surgeries, and in June, announced that she'd parted ways with her most recent coach, Sebastian Sachs.

"I have really enjoyed Seb's coaching and working with him, it's unfortunate that circumstances made it unfeasible for both of us to continue right now and we have decided to part ways," she posted on Twitter.
