Dan Evans has quietly been having one of the best months of his career. Since a first-round loss at Roland Garros, the 29-year-old has gone 12-1 on grass.

His streak includes 10 matches in a row for two ATP Challenger crowns, in Surbiton and Nottingham. He beat Victor Troicki in the Surbiton final.

A week later at the Nottingham tournament, he was the top seed and captured his eighth career ATP Challenger title.

In Queen's Club, he survived an injury scare, but lost to Stan Wawrinka in straight sets. This week, he won his opener in Eastbourne over Radu Albot, with a slick volley winner to boot.
