The year has been all about Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic, but an injury-stricken Roger Federer has still managed to keep himself in the spotlight thanks to some serious fan devotion.

Despite playing just 28 matches this season, and not competing since falling in the Wimbledon semifinals, the Swiss won the ATPWorldTour.com Fans' Favorite award for the 14th straight year. He also picked up the Stefan Edberg Sportsmanship Award—which is voted on by the players—for the 12th time in 13 years .

One major reason why fans show so much love to Federer is because of his graciousness and respect for other players, no matter who they are. This summer, when a then-No. 772-ranked Marcus Willis lost to Federeron Wimbledon's Centre Court, he publicly thanked Federer after the match.
