After competing against Rafael Nadal in front of the biggest crowd in tennis history at the Match for Africa exhibition, Roger Federer stepped away from the court to undergo arthroscopic knee surgery in February.

"My right knee has been bothering me for a little while," he said.

Although he planned to return for the grass-court season, the sports world unexpectedly and quickly has come to a halt due to the coronavirus pandemic. Even though his return to court is likely to be pushed back, he can't seem to stay away from the game.

The 38-year-old has been out practicing in the snow in Switzerland on a wall.

"Staying active at home is very important at the moment. Maybe even working on the trick shot once in a while," Federer said.

Sporting a beanie, carrying his racquet and a single tennis ball, Federer showed off his new routine, before hitting the camera (by accident?).

"But seriously now," he said. "I think it's more important than ever, that we listen to local government and that we adapt to the new situation and we try our best there."
