Federer greets children with Lindt chocolate

Roger Federer has revived his legendary form in 2017, winning Grand Slam No. 18 at the Australian Open and capturing the first two ATP Masters 1000 events of the year, in Indian Wells and Miami.

But perhaps more important than any title he has won is the work that Federer is doing off the court to help those who could use a lift from the greatest player of all time.

Federer, in collaboration with Lindt, surprised kids at a children’s hospital in Basel for Easter with something that can make almost anybody feel better: chocolate.

The 35-year-old is no stranger to helping children. He started the Roger Federer Foundation over a decade ago, aiming to provide childhood education for families in need, with the goal of reaching one million families by 2018.

Federer and Andy Murray came together to raise funds for the charity on Monday in the Match For Africa 3.

The Swiss said that he won’t play another tournament until the French Open, but he’s not done with his charity work just yet. Federer, John Isner and Bill Gates are raising money in Seattle on April 29 in the Match for Africa 4.

While Federer won't compete again until the French Open, he's keeping busy in the best of ways.
