Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal are used to setting records separately, but in Cape Town, South Africa, on Friday, they broke one together: drawing a reported 51,954 fans for the Match in Africa. It marked the most ever at a tennis match.

What's more, after the event, Federer said on Instagram that they raised more than $3 million for the Roger Federer Foundation, which helps fund education programs in Africa.

Fans were treated to not just one Federer-Nadal face-off, but two—the first being a doubles set featuring Federer paired with Bill Gates and Nadal teamed with Daily Show host Trevor Noah.

Noah wore the same kit as Nadal, and even tried the same extensive pre-serve routine, but his forehand still wasn't of his partner's caliber:

They did play some highly entertaining points, and Nadal showed off every shot in his bag. But in the end, Federer and Gates took the set 6-3.

Nadal brought his wildest shots to the singles session as well; watch this spinning sky-hook dunk winner:

Federer, however, finishing the match with an untouchable backhand half-volley, came away with the win, 6-4, 3-6, 6-3.

In the 22 years since Federer turned pro, and the decade since the first Match for Africa, Federer and Nadal have etched a legacy not only with their unbelievable on-court achievements, but also with the impact they've had on people all over the world. And there's no indication that they're done making a difference yet.
