A century-old Italian brand once known for its quality underwear, Fila became synonymous with tennis in the 1970s. As the company made its first foray into the world of sportswear, they signed an on-the-rise Bjorn Borg to its ranks—instantly cementing Fila’s place in the sport’s most historic moments.

Fila will celebrate all of that storied history at this year’s BNP Paribas Open with a series of on-site activities—including an in-store interactive exhibition within the brand’s retail space at the Indian Wells Tennis Gardens that's set to showcase both its own heritage as well as the evolution of tennis fashion.

Archival outfits and key artifacts from the brand's history will be shipped in from Fondazione FILA Museum in Biella, Italy to Southern California for the occasion, with fans encouraged to check them out as they shop.

As the official apparel and footwear supplier of the marquee 1000-level event, Fila is also set to unveil its new ‘Tie Breaker Collection’ at Indian Wells. Sponsored WTA and ATP players including Barbora Krejcikova, John Isner and more will sport the looks throughout the Sunshine Swing.

Fila will also scheduled to feature in another special edition of Tennis Talks, alongside other brands and organizations, in a “50 Years in Tennis” panel discussion on Saturday, March 11.
