Thanksgiving is the ultimate family get-together. Back in August, ahead of the US Open, Wilson held a “family dinner” of its own at its flagship retail store in Manhattan. Seven players from the past, present and future of the game shared a table, good food and conversation. The concept was driven by Billie Jean King, who has always wanted to have an honest back-and-forth with players from different generations. The discussion covered such topics as return of serve positioning, equipment preferences and representing their country in the Olympics.

The guest list included: Reilly Opelka, Borna Coric, Nico Godsick, ClervieNgounoue, Linda Fruhvirtova, Billie Jean King and Serena Williams.

“Beyond what they do on the court, which is obviously phenomenal, we’re most proud of the people behind the racquets,” said Katie Fetting, Sr. Global Director of Marketing, Racquet Sports. “They are to a person dynamic, curious, insightful and generally just fun to be around,” “We wanted to enable their fans to see this side of them unfiltered.”

Fruhvirtova, at 17 the highest-ranked player for her age on the WTA Tour, found it an honor and an inspiration to be a part of the dinner, especially getting to break bread with two of the all-time greats.

"I’ve watched Serena since I was a little girl and I’ve always admired her," said Fruhvirtova. "Billie Jean King is a legend of our sport who changed women’s tennis and to be able to sit at a dinner between two of the biggest and most important female leaders in our sport was very special."

The highlights of this frank and entertaining evening is captured in this exclusive first look video from Wilson.
