It's all actually happening. Photos have emerged of Shia LaBeouf as John McEnroe in the upcoming film McEnroe vs. Borg, which centers on the classic 1980 Wimbledon final.

The anticipation for the blockbuster tennis extravaganza has been building for months. It wasn't too hard for the 30-year-old actor to grow out his curly locks, and it shouldn't be too hard for him to channel his inner McEnroe. LaBeouf has become famous for going from Disney child star to problem-causing rebel.

McEnroe, famous himself for his own antics and meltdowns, said he had no say in who played his 1980s likeness.

Weeks ago, LaBeouf was spotted in Prague heading to practice in full throwback garb.

Swedish actor Sverrir Gudnason will play Bjorn Borg. The movie is set to release in 2017.
