There's a lot of awkwardness to be discussed.

It's always been funny to me how the word "awkward" looks exactly that. Now FiveThirtyEight has an intriguing read on why the relationship between the Olympic Games and tennis is also, well, exactly that.

One of the biggest points made is the lack of... points. Both tours have stopped offering ranking points for the Olympic Games. World No. 141 Juan Martin del Potro surely could have used a little more reward for his silver-medal finish in Rio.
