It's happening.

With Rafael Nadal's gusty five-set win over Grigor Dimitrov on Friday, he did the unthinkable: Set up a Grand Slam final against Roger Federer.

Of course, years ago, a Federer-Nadal major final was the norm, but it's been a long time coming for this particular showdown. In fact, the last time Nadal saw Federer across the net from him in a Grand Slam championship match was nearly six years ago at Roland Garros. Nadal, as was his wont in Paris, would win, 7-5, 7-6 (3), 5-7, 6-1.

The two have played each other 34 total times, with Nadal leading the head-to-head 23-11. They've played in eight major finals against each other (Nadal leads 6-2). The highly anticipated final on Sunday will be a repeat of the 2009 Australian Open final (which Nadal won in five sets).

With the women's final featuring Serena Williams vs. Venus, it really makes one wonder, has the world gone back in time or have these four 30-sometings just reached superhuman legend status?

To put this in perspective, the last time a major featured a Roger vs. Rafa and Venus vs. Serena final was nine long years ago at Wimbledon in 2008.
