Fourhand: Murray attempts to hula hoop in Rio

BEAR WITH HIM  Turns out that Great Britain's flag bearer for the impending Rio Olympics, Andy Murray, fumbles about as much with a hula hoop (notably while fielding a reporter's questions) as he does with the Union Jack. Those hips don't lie. They tell the truth!

RODDICTED  For those Midwest and, specifically, Indianapolis-based tennis fans who have missed Andy Roddick in recent years, fret not: He's returning to the Crossroads of America in September for an exhibition match against Rio Olympian Rajeev Ram to benefit the latter's EntouRaj for Kids foundation. Removed from the erstwhile Indianapolis Tennis Championships (nee "the RCAs"), fans will relish seeing A-Rod in action locally once again.

LIFE'S A BEACH  Maria Sharapova isn't exactly staying out of the limelight while serving her meldonium-fueled suspension. She's keeping up her (beach) tennis game and crashing other people's events looks to be a lifelong thing for her and a friend. You can go ahead and file that under "One More Thing Serena Williams Has Done Bigger and Better."

BONUS  Olympic observers can't help themselves, gushing over Venus Williams' "all-American braids." She showed them off on Instagram this week, and *Vogue* is all about them, too.
