Frances Tiafoe goes deep in the latest episode of Confessional Cart, opening up about one of his biggest—and most surprising—fears.

“I’m crazy afraid of cats,” admits the American showman. “The way they look at me, they freak me out!”

Feline fears aside, Tiafoe stood strong to put down an impressive challenge for the top spot on the CC leaderboard.

The world No. 24 matches Paula Badosa by spitting a few bars from his favorite Lil’ Baby song, “Do We Have A Problem?” and picks Gaël Monfils as his go-to road trip buddy.

His favorite tennis Twitter follow?

“Nick [Kyrgios]’s tweets are always below the belt, they make me laugh sometimes,” says Tiafoe. “They’re a little outrageous sometimes!”

Tiafoe enjoyed a solid summer leading up to the US Open, reaching the semifinals and quarterfinals in Atlanta and Washington, D.C., respectively, and playing his share of unforgettable all-American clashes against Taylor Fritz and Sebastian Korda in Canada and Cincinnati.
