Taylor Fritz has invested in ReKTGlobal, the esports parent company of Rogue, a popular pro gaming organization with divisions in FIFA, Fortnite, League of Legends, and Super Smash Bros, among others.

“As the first tennis pro and youngest investor to date, I’m really excited to join the ReKTGlobal team,” Fritz said in a release. “It’s a dream come true to invest in this fast-growing esports organization and follow my passion for competitive gaming. As the esports industry continues to blow up and go mainstream, I’m looking forward to collaborating with the team and making magic happen. Livestreaming with the Rogue squad and DrLupo will be a fun bonus too.”

Don’t worry if that last sentence didn’t sound like English. Fritz was simply referring to gaming with pros on the popular live-streaming service Twitch.

Fritz joins a ReKTGlobal investment group that includes Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert and electronic dance music artists Steve Aoki and DJ Nicky Romero.

The 22-year-old is known around the tour for his gaming prowess, and is often seen “pwning” Reilly Opelka and Nick Kyrgios in either FIFA or Fortnite.
