Earlier this week in Queens, the USTA Foundation raised more than $2 million during its record-breaking gala. And there was plenty of star-studded support to go around for the organization that helps provide tennis and education programming for thousands of youth across the country every year.
Actor Alec Baldwin co-hosted the event with ESPN's Hannah Storm, as the two led a successful live auction that garnered over $500,000 of the total proceeds. Held at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, the event also honored the Original 9 with the Trailblazer Award.
“The generosity of our donors and corporate partners will have a tangible impact on our mission to bring education and tennis together to change lives,” said USTA Foundation Board President Kathleen Wu
