From her breakout performance at Wimbledon and viral on-court interview with Naomi Osaka on Arthur Ashe Stadium, to winning her first WTA singles title last week in Linz, the past four months have been a whirlwind for Coco Gauff.
Things aren’t slowing down in the near future for the 15-year-old. This week, Gauff is competing in Luxembourg (she fell in singles Wednesday but is still alive in the doubles event with Caty McNally). Next month, the American teen is stepping up to help raise funds in the Bahamas by joining the Baha Mar Cup field.
The four-day event, hosted at the resort Baha Mar, came to fruition after Hurricane Dorian slammed the northern part of the country in early September. All proceeds will directly benefit victims of the storm and assist with efforts to begin rebuilding the affected areas.
