Graf and Garcia played mini tennis on Zhuhai bridge

Steffi Graf and Caroline Garcia had some fun during their time in Zhuhai by playing mini tennis on top of the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macau Bridge, an ongoing construction project that will connect the three cities.

The event promoted both the bridge and the Elite Trophy event, the secondary WTA year-end tournament. Graf was named the tournament's ambassador for 2016 while the world No. 23 was playing in Zhuhai as the 11th seed.

Garcia was knocked out of the event with a 1-1 record after losing to Johanna Konta, 6-2, 6-2. Konta would fall to Elina Svitolina in the semifinals (while Petra Kvitova walked away the champion).
