Simona Halep has had another strong season (despite a slow start). She is finishing her third-straight year inside the Top 5 and will be playing in her third consecutive WTA Finals in Singapore.

The Romanian was a perfect 3-0 in finals this year, winning Madrid, Montreal and Bucharest. She also reached two major quarterfinals (at Wimbledon and the US Open).

The 25-year-old's year also included a 13-match winning streak over the summer, with back-to-back titles and a semifinal showing in Cincinnati.

One of her biggest boosts this year has been the addition of Darren Cahill to her coaching team.

In the coaching changeover, you can get a glimpse how Cahill and Halep interact during her her roller-coaster semifinal win over Angelique Kerber in the Montreal semifinals. This season was the duo's first time working together full time.

Halep will try to do one match better than her 2014 finalist finish when the WTA Finals start on Sunday.
