It was obvious all season that Yung-jan Chan and Martina Hingis enjoyed each other’s company, on the court and off.

With their tournament-winning days behind them due to Hingis’ retirement at the WTA Finals, there has been more opportunity to get to know each other with some cross-continental excursions.

The first stop was Chan’s home country, Taiwan. The No. 1 doubles team in the world managed to get in a little hiking, even though the trails were crowded.

Chan spent a lot of time sharing some culinary delights with Hingis and pals (including her little sister, Hao-Ching Chan).

Next it was Hingis’ turn to play tour guide as the pair reunited in Switzerland.

Hingis gave Chan an up-close experience with something near and dear to her.

They’ve also taken time to celebrate Hingis’ career with her tennis-playing compatriots and friends.

And they’ve managed to get in some time on the slopes, too.

Hingis + Chan = friendship goals.
