Holger Rune, reloaded: The Danish 20-year-old has added Swiss Severin Luthi, the former longtime coach of Roger Federer, to his team for 2024.

Rune confirmed Luthi's hiring in an Instagram post on Wednesday, saying that he was "very happy" to welcome Luthi to his team in the caption of a photo of the two posing in Monaco with Rune's mother and manager, Aneke Rune; Mouratoglou Academy coach, Lapo Becherini; and six-time Grand Slam singles champion Boris Becker, whom Rune first tabbed as his coach this fall.

Rune also wrote that Luthi will work "alongside Boris," and included the hashtags #team, #2024, #development and #goals.

Luthi coached Federer for 15 years, from 2007 to his 2022 retirement, and is currently also the Swiss Davis Cup captain.

Last month, Becker and Rune extended their coaching arrangement into 2024, following what he deemed a sucessful trial period that began in October.

"I am very excited to continue my partnership with @holgerrune2003 in 2024," Becker wrote on X, the platform formerly called Twitter, on Nov. 19. "We are building a team around Holger to bring out the best version of himself, on and off the court."
