The on-court partnership between Sascha Bajin and Karolina Pliskova is over, again. The 2018 WTA Coach of the Year announced on social media Wednesday that he and the 31-year-old Czech have parted ways for a second time.

Bajin and Pliskova's first partnership began ahead of the 2021, a year in which the former world No. 1 had a string of resurgent results, including a run to her second Grand Slam final at Wimbledon. They split last July, in the midst of an injury-plagued year for the Pliskova, but reunited ahead the 2023 season.

Now, if Bajin's latest post is to be believed, they could be done for good.

"Hey @KaPliskova thanks for giving it another go with me," he wrote on Twitter. "Thank you for all the fun moments and memories created. All the best from me to you and good luck at the US Open. Hope you get your [Grand S]lam."

As far as his next charge? He's open to fan input.

"Let’s see what’s next for me," he added, with a thinking face emoji. "Any suggestions guys?"

Bajin, 38, was most famously Naomi Osaka's coach when she won back-to-back Grand Slam singles titles at the US Open in 2018 and the Australian Open in 2019, leading to his being named the inaugural WTA Coach of the Year. He also worked with Kristina Mladenovic and Dayana Yastremska.

Previously, he was the longtime hitting partner for Serena Williams, and also served in that role with players including Victoria Azarenka, Sloane Stephens and Caroline Wozniacki.
