Hot Shot: Salisbury breaks internet with crosscourt tweener

If shots could get bonus points for degree of difficulty, this one would be worth 50.

In Sunday's doubles final at the Vienna ATP 500, Great Britain's Joe Salisbury chased a lob nearly into the stands, and then proceeded to slap a shot backward and between his legs, sending the ball streaking across the court with such pace and at such an acute angle that neither Marcelo Melo nor Lukasz Kubot had a chance of touching it.

It was a shot so spectacular it takes two camera angles to see it all:

Melo then challenged the "IN" call, but the tweener proved too perfect—it was shown to just skim the doubles sideline.

Salisbury and his partner, Rajeev Ram, would go on to win the set, 6-4, and the match: 6-4, 6-7 (5), 10-5. It was the team's second title of the year; they also won the ATP 500 in Dubai.

They're also paired up for this week's Paris Masters, opening against Robin Haase and Wesley Koolhof.
