Eugenie Bouchard has officially joined the Tennis Channel family as a studio analyst, making her first appearance on Monday to cover the Citi Open and Mubadala Silicon Valley Classic.

"I’m very excited to work with Tennis Channel for the next few weeks,” Bouchard said. “Whether at home or in a hotel on the road, I always have Tennis Channel on my TV. I’m really looking forward to joining the team in the studio.”

Bouchard will be on-air throughout the summer while she continues to rehab her shoulder and is set to also commentate during Canada's National Bank Open, which begins on August 9.

After tearing her subscapularis in Guadalajara earlier this season, the former world No. 5 initially attempted to resolve the issue through rehab and treatment, Bouchard ultimately pulled the trigger on arthroscopic surgery in June.

The Canadian’s doctor informed her of the lengthy recovery time, but she's making the most of each second away from the court; in addition to calling plays for Tennis Channel. she's managed to travel and host meet-and-greets.

The 2014 Wimbledon finalist appeared to enjoy her first day on set, but she may have been even more pumped for the Chick-fil-A being served on set, sharing a behind-the-scenes look at her first day at the Tennis Channel office in Santa Monica on her Instagram.
