The WTA world No. 1 is building up (no pun intended) her brand portfolio. Iga Swiatek is the newest ambassador for LEGO in Poland.

While she's risen into one of tennis' most accomplished champions, Swiatek has simultaneously become one of tennis' leading LEGO aficionados, having started toying (OK, we'll stop now) with the blocks during the COVID-19 pandemic at the suggestion of Daria Abramowicz, her sports psychologist.

Model-building, she says, is part of her famed mental training regimen, and she often brings them with her on the road to tournaments.

"LEGO is the perfect way to not think about tennis and to use your time to not look at the screens and watch social media," Swiatek recently told Tennis Channel. "It's more of a nice way to spend my time off in a relaxing way, and it keeps my mind busy from tennis."

With her new sponsorship deal, which Swiatek announced on social media on Tuesday, the Pole says she hopes to pass the joy she gets from LEGO onto others.

"I’m sure I’ll have much fun continuing to use LEGO bricks in my work in the field of my mental preparation, but what’s equally important: that together with LEGO brand we’ll share with you our passion, creativity and just fun, empowering the next generation to play with LEGO bricks and making an impact," Swiatek wrote in announcing the partnership.

But she's not the first to feel that way: Swiatek is joining Canada's Leylah Fernandez as an ambassador for the company. The Canadian, who has her own affinity for the kits that feature notable, global locales, signed a deal with LEGO last year.

LEGO joins an impressive rolodex of sponsors for the Pole, who was named the world's highest-earning female athlete for 2023 by *Forbes* in December. Swiatek, who made an estimated $23.9 million last year, has other brand deals with Visa, Porsche, On apparel, Rolex, and Poland's biggest insurance company PZU.
