In Stockholm this week, John Isner talks openly about his love for animals. While the 6'10" American could easily pass as a professional basketball player, he said he would have rather been a veterinarian (if not for tennis).

"I love animals, dogs especially, it’s one of my passions," Isner says.

The Georgia alumni owns a Cocker Spaniel named Magill.

"He’s absolutely obsessed with tennis balls, which is a good thing," Isner says.

The world No. 27 recently teamed up with Nulo Pet Food, which has agreed to donate 10 pet meals for every ace Isner hits.

As you can see on Isner's dog-filled Instagram page, he doesn't discriminate when it comes to loving every animal he comes across.

In Stockholm, Isner fell in the first round to dangerous dark horse (and wildcard entry) Juan Martin del Potro, 6-4, 7-6 (6).
